The cucumber is a vegetable that is normally eaten raw. Cucumbers only grow in a warm climate and can, therefore, only be grown in greenhouses in the Netherlands. This vegetable has been grown for thousands of years in Asia and was brought to Europe in the 16th century.

Cucumbers are traded in various sizes both undercovered and wrapped foil. Labelling as required is possible on cucumbers that are wrapped with foil.



Availability : End of January to mid November. We supply Canary Islands and Spanish cucumbers in the winter.
